Waffle, steak, crinkle, curly, thin. Whatever way you fry them up, french fries always hit the spot.

And as if we don’t eat them enough, there’s a national day dedicated to the perfect little potato snacks. National French Fries Day is Friday, July 12, so get ready to chow down.

But there’s more good news: one Warner Robins restaurant is frying up three special dishes for you to try Friday and throughout the rest of July.

If you’re a fries lover, specifically a waffle fries lover, Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux in Warner Robins has probably been your go-to for a delicious, hot plate of their signature waffle cheese fries. I mean, come on, the dish has everything drool-worthy on it: salty waffle fries covered in melting jack and cheddar cheeses, all topped with bacon and banana peppers.

If that wasn’t satisfying enough for you though, the restaurant is sure to please with three additional legendary fries dishes.

“Here at Walk-On’s in Warner Robins we have had our staple of Signature Waffle Cheese Fries but we’re elevating the dish with new options that include Buffalo Chicken, Loaded Bacon CheeseBurger, and Pulled Pork,” said owner Steve Rigby.

Here’s a closer look:

The Buffalo chicken waffle cheese fries include waffle fries layered with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, topped with buffalo sauce-drenched fried chicken tenders, pickled jalapeños, and a drizzle of ranch.

The new loaded bacon cheeseburger waffle fries have a crispy waffle fries base, piled high with sizzling burger crumbles, melted cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese, savory bacon bits, sprinkled with a blend of diced red onion, pickle and tomato. The fries come finished with a drizzle of our signature ketchup aioli.

Last, but certainly not least are the new pulled pork waffle cheese fries: these fries come loaded with Jack and cheddar cheese, bacon, banana peppers, and topped with Sweet Baby Ray’s pulled pork.

“Walk-On’s Waffle Fries are a great shareable item that add to the experience of dining with us,” said Rigby. “We’re all about comfort and what better way to feel that warmth than with a Waffle Fry from Walk-On’s?”

Well, we are sold. Who else is joining us at Walk-On’s on Friday (and the next day and the next)?
