Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ will be open in Warner Robins this week. See what’s on the menu

Jim ‘N Nick’s, a saucy barbeque restaurant based in Alabama, opens this week in Warner Robins.

The grand opening of the restaurant will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, with a fiery start.

In true BBQ smokehouse fashion, the president of Jim ‘N Nicks, Brian Lyman, and team members will torch the restaurant’s ribbon.

Jim ‘N Nick’s first opened in 1985 at an Alabama pizza parlor turned BBQ restaurant. Now the restaurant has 42 locations. The restaurant boasts slow-smoked barbecue from some of the best pitmasters in the South and made-from-scratch sides.

So, what’s on the menu?

Let’s check out some of the menu items waiting for Warner Robins residents.

To start, customers can choose from delicious options like hand-breaded onion rings, Southern-style deviled eggs or a jalapeno cheddar nacho platter.

There are also soups, salads and loaded potatoes.

For an entree, foodies can choose from savory chicken plates, saucy ribs, delectable fish sandwiches or meaty burgers.

Of course, BBQ entrees are the main hit at Jim ‘N Nick’s. From classic pulled pork to Carolina-style ribs or even beef brisket — you can get them all drenched in habanero, original or white sauce.

And if you’re big on dessert, Jim ‘N Nick’s has banana pudding and several pies such as lemon box, chocolate and a seasonal option.

Jim ‘N Nick’s also has family meal options called “Feast in a Flash,” which serves three to four people. You can choose from BBQ dinner, chicken tender meal, brisket dinner or rib dinner.

The restaurant is located at located at 4060 Watson Blvd. and is the first store of this franchise brand in Middle Georgia.
