Relive pop music at the turn of the millennium with the MY2K tour coming to Macon in July.

Boy bands 98 Degrees and O-Town, along with girl band Dream, will take the Grand Opera House stage July 23. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. June 10 and cost $59.50. A VIP upgrade, which includes a meet-and-greet and acoustic performance with 98 Degrees, is available for an additional $99.

Tickets may be purchased at the Grand Opera House, located at 651 Mulberry Street, or by phone at 478-301-5470 weekdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tickets also are available online at thegrandmacon.com.

According to a news release from the Grand Opera House:

98 Degrees is a four-man group known for their vocal harmonizing. The band’s breakthrough album, 98 Degrees and Rising went four times platinum and included hit singles such as “Because of You,” “I Do,” and “The Hardest Thing.”

O-Town rose to fame in a reality show called “Making the Band,” which chronicled the group’s rise to success. Hit singles include “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing.”

Dream is known for its singles “He Loves U Not” and “This is Me,” which was the first video from a girl group to be retired from MTV’s TRL video playlist.
