Alt-rock band Goo Goo Dolls will perform in Macon with Neon Trees. Here’s when
The alt-rock band the Goo Goo Dolls is slated to perform at the Macon amphitheater next summer, according to a news release from the Oak View Group on Monday.
The band — based in Buffalo, New York, and known for its global hit “Iris,” which has amassed over a billion streams in 2025 — will perform at the Atrium Health Amphitheater on Aug. 27, 2026, according to a news release from the hospitality group. Neon Trees, who are known for “Everybody Talks” and “Animal,” will open for the Goo Goo Dolls.
“Formed by John Rzeznik and Robby Takac (in) 1986, Goo Goo Dolls have quietly broken records, contributed a string of staples to the American songbook, connected to millions of fans and indelibly impacted popular music for three-plus decades,” the news release says.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m., but from Tuesday at 12 p.m. through Thursday at 10 p.m., pre-sale tickets will be available using the password GGDSUMMER, according to the Goo Goo Dolls’ website.
Special VIP packages will also be available for fans, and will offer special experiences such as the opportunity to take home Rzeznik’s Fender guitar that he played during the show, a meet-and-greet, a behind-the-scenes production tour, a Goo Goo Dolls and YETI collaborative drinkware item, and more.
