Picnic and Dance benefits Macon hospice
Playing hits from Motown through the 1980s, the Grapevine Band will entertain guests Saturday at this year’s Summer’s Night Picnic and Dance at the City Auditorium.
“They are a popular local band, and it will be a night of fun and dancing,” said Megan Allen, publications coordinator for Navicent Health.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for people to get settled before the music starts at 7:30 p.m. Table seating is available for attendees bringing a picnic dinner, and individual seating is available in the balcony as well.
The annual event benefits Pine Pointe, Navicent Health, which offers hospice services to patients at home or at its 15-bed facility on Peake Road, which offers private rooms, gardens and family areas for the approximately 700 patients Pine Pointe cares for each year.
