Downtown Sounds showcases Macon artists
The Library Ballroom will be featuring three Macon artists Saturday with A Night of Downtown Sounds.
Joshua Neal, Dean Brown and Louise Warren will perform in what Library Ballroom events and properties manager Kaylee Pruitt called “an intimate setting.”
“They will all play individual sets, and they may do something together at the end of the night if time permits,” she said.
Pruitt described Neal’s music as indie rock, while Brown performs reggae and Warren plays guitar and “has sort of a Norah Jones sound, a little bit funk, a little bit country, and a little bit indie.”
A Night of Downtown Sounds is part of the Library Ballroom’s effort to showcase “the uniqueness of the downtown community” and “provide an alternative nightlife experience,” according to a news release.
A cash bar will be available throughout the evening.
