Corey Smith with Trea Landon

FRIDAY AT THE COX CAPITOL THEATRE

Corey Smith is no stranger to Macon. He claims that he owes a huge debt to his fans, especially those who have been supporting him since his first release back in 2003. This time through town, he'll be highlighting his new album, which marks the first time he's worked with an outside producer, Keith Stegall, who has worked with both Alan Jackson and the Zac Brown Band. The bill is filled out with Trea Landon, an upcoming country singer/songwriter who is backed by a band of musicians that boast more than 50 years of experience. Doors: 7 p.m./Show 8 p.m. $22-$25.

Broadcast 90

Bust out your Jincos, spike up your hair and get down with the sickness. These guys are gonna play everything from those Third Eye Blind hits that made the girls swoon to those Smash Mouth hits that made it on the "Shrek" soundtrack. 10:30 p.m. $5.

Sumilan

SATURDAY AT THE HUMMINGBIRD STAGE AND TAPROOM

Athens' Sumilan has a sound that boasts a combination of prog rock, trance, ambient and psychedelic music with a healthy dose of improvisation, all topped off with "pop-minded" vocals. That sound is in full force on their latest album, "En Transit," but their live shows are where the band really shines, with each show finding the band pushing the boundaries of their compositions. 10:30 p.m. $5.

Lenora Green performing "Songs of Love, Hope and Grace"

TUESDAY AT MERCER UNIVERSITY'S FICKLING HALL

Macon native Lenora Green is known throughout the world for her rich soprano voice, garnering accolades from respected publications like Opera News and the NY Times, who describes Green's voice as "indulgence the audience can wholeheartedly support." The evening's program is a "collaborative recital" that will explore arts songs and arias, concluding with a set of spirituals that promise to acknowledge a "critical time in our cultural and musical heritage." 7:30 p.m. Free.

Drivin N Cryin' with Thomas Wynn & the Believers and Great Peacock

Florida-based Thomas Wynn (whose father was the drummer for Cowboy) and Great Peacock open the night. Doors: 7 p.m./Show 8 p.m. $15-$20.
