Celtic guitar masters Robin Bullock and Steve Baughman will return to Macon for the 14th year Friday night with their "Celtic Christmas" concert at Wesleyan College's Pierce Chapel.

The duet will perform Celtic, Appalachian and Christmas classics on guitar, mandolin, cittern and banjo.

"We play a lot of the standard carols as interpreted for acoustic guitar, songs like 'Silent Night' and 'What Child is This?' and also Irish harp music and Appalachian old-time string band music that celebrates the season," Bullock said.

Both active as solo artists, Bullock and Baughman play together as often as possible and have brought their Christmas tour of the Southeast to Macon since the very beginning.

"The show has gradually evolved over time," Bullock said. "It can become an annual tradition for people, so we want to give them something a little different each year, but there are also some things that people expect, certain carols they have come to hear."
