Take a musical journey with Macon Little Theatre

“Blame it on the Movies” is a musical journey through the songs of well-loved and classic films ranging from the 1930s all the way to the 1990s. The songs are weaved between narration that will remind the audience how much feature pictures influence our lives and culture.
“It’s music that strikes a chord in all of us. We remember when we saw that at the movies and where we were and who we were with and all those kinds of things,” said Sylvia Haynie, the show’s director.
The musical review has no true plot, but lasts for about two hours and features a cast of only nine members.
“It’s an ideal date night, whether you’re dating your sweetheart that you’ve had since the 1940s or just someone you love to go to the movies with,” she said.
