Cold forces Cherry Blossom fun into Terminal Station

The prospect of free ice cream with temperatures in the 40s has prompted the Cherry Blossom Festival to relocate midday activities Wednesday afternoon.

Third Street Park festivities will be held at Terminal Station from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Winds are expected to gust to 15 mph, which will make it feel even cooler as temperatures struggle to break 50 degrees during the lunch hour.

Taiwan is today's featured country for the lunchtime celebration.
