Accident cancels Grand Finale food trucks

A fatal accident on Interstate 75 will mean food trucks will not be at the Cherry Blossom Festival’s Grand Finale event on Sunday, according to the festival’s Facebook page.

“Due to the accident on I-75, the food trucks scheduled for the Grand Finale are unable make it to the event,” the post stated. “We apologize for any inconvenience.”

Although the accident blocked all northbound lanes, it slowed traffic due to rubber necking in the southbound lanes as well.
