Vanessa Trump Shares Update Amid Breast Cancer Battle, ‘I'm Grateful To Be Healing'

Vanessa Trump recently shared a health update amid her ongoing fight against breast cancer. The 44-year-old initially revealed her diagnosis on May 20.

Last month, Trump posted on her Instagram page, "I want to share a personal health update. I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan."

She went on to add, "I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me."

After her diagnosis, Trump's boyfriend, pro golfer Tiger Woods, briefly returned home from his stay at a Swiss rehab center to support Vanessa and reportedly to attend Kai Trump's high school graduation (Kai is Vanessa's eldest child, with Donald Trump Jr.). He later flew back to Switzerland, but was recently spotted in the U.S. again.

On Saturday, June 13, Trump posted a new statement on her Instagram page, revealing, "I wanted to share an update on my cancer journey. Over the past four weeks, I've been recovering from surgery, and I'm grateful to be healing and moving forward. Soon, I'll be starting the second stage of my treatment. Sending love, strength, and hope to everyone fighting this battle."

Of course, Woods isn't the only person close to Vanessa supporting her through this challenging time. While the comments on Trump's initial Instagram post have now been deleted, former sister-in-lawIvanka Trumpsent her love, writing (last May), "Praying for your continued strength and swift recovery. Love you mama," and Vanessa's daughter Kai posted a sweet mother-daughter graduation day pic (on her Instagram Stories) with the title, "Strongest person I know. Love you."

Earlier in May, Kai also posted a heartfelt Mother's Day message to Vanessa, writing, "Happy Mother's Day to the nest Mom I could ever ask for. I'm so thankful and lucky to have you in my life. Thank you for always supporting me and loving your 5 kids. You are such an amazing Mom and we are all so lucky to have you."

Kai continued, "I appreciate you more than anything." As of now, there is no additional information on the specific "second stage of treatment" that Vanessa Trump will undergo in the upcoming weeks.
