'90s Rock Band Announces First-Ever Move Amid 2026 Tour

Staind, the '90s and early 2000s hard rock band, has announced a vinyl pressing collection of their iconic album Break The Cycle. The exciting news was revealed on Friday morning via Instagram, leaving longtime fans thrilled.

The vinyl collection features five distinct variants of the live recording, marking the first time the group has ever pressed the project to wax. The launch showcases a series of striking pressings utilizing a vibrant blue tie-dye pattern. Arriving just in time for the album's 25th anniversary, this special release serves as a milestone celebration of its legacy.

Chart and Commercial Triumph

Released on May 8, 2001 as Staind's third studio album, Break The Cycle was a massive success. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release, holding the top spot for three consecutive weeks.

Not only did the record display undeniable dominance on the mainstream LP chart, but it also thrived with commercial triumph, selling over 716,000 units within its first week. The album was certified 5× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling over 5 million copies in the U.S. alone-an outstanding feat for an up-and-coming hard rock act.

To this day, the album is recognized as the band's most successful work. In total, Break The Cycle produced five major charting rock singles, including "It's Been Awhile," "Fade," "Outside," "For You" and "Epiphany"-all of which continue to maintain cultural relevance and generate fan enthusiasm.
