Tickets still available for country music star’s weekend show in Macon

Country music star Parker McCollum stops in Macon at the Atrium Health Amphitheater on his Parker McCollum tour Saturday at 7:30 p.m. along with special guests Corey Smith and Vincent Mason.

Originally, his tour was called the “What Kinda Man” tour, but it was rebranded to the “Parker McCollum” tour. According to a press release, this change reflects McCollum’s legacy while touring the Red Dirt Country state and his musical Texas roots. McCollum will release his fifth studio album, titled “Parker McCollum,” on Friday.

“It is the best thing I’ve ever done. This record is honest, this record is raw, this record is one thousand percent authentic, Parker, and it feels really good to get back to writing and recording songs like I always wanted to,” Parker McCollum said on his website.

In 2021, McCollum won the Academy of Country Music’s New Male Artist of the Year award. He has also had several chart-topper songs like “Pretty Heart,” “To Be Loved by You,” and “Burn it Down.” This new album represents a return to his Texan roots.

Tickets are still available for the concert this Saturday at the Atrium Health Amphitheater for as low as $36.45 before fees for general admission lawn seating. One dollar of every Parker McCollum ticket sold will be donated to The Ruger Fund. The Ruger Fund was established in 2023 by Parker McCollum, with a philanthropic objective to support various charity organizations according to his website.
