Sitcom extraordinaire Jerry Seinfeld is set to perform in Macon in November, he announced on Facebook Thursday.
The award-winning comedian and New Yorker will take over the Macon City Auditorium on Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.
“Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere,” Tyler Gambrell, marketing director for the auditorium, said in a press release.
The show will feature new stand-up material as part of his tour.
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m., and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.com or the Macon Coliseum Box Office.
Seinfeld also performed at the Macon City Auditorium in 2018, Gambrell said.
He became known for the best comedy show in the world, “Seinfeld,” according to TV Guide, Vanity Fair and 60 Minutes. Among other achievements, the comedian has won various Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards; wrote three best-selling novels; directed, produced and starred in various other TV shows; and performs around the world.
