The best drama, fashion and surprises on ‘Men Tell All’ with ‘Bachelorette’ Charity Lawson
Drama, jokes and earrings?
Yes, we are talking about “The Men Tell All” which aired Monday, August 14.
All the men from Charity Lawson’s “Bachelorette” season gathered together to share their thoughts. And boy, there was some tea.
Brayden, continued
Host Jesse Palmer immediately let the drama unfold before the live audience as he prompted Sean to confront Brayden, who was indeed wearing earrings: his signature fashion statement (and I got the ick all over again).
Side note: Brayden’s earrings apparently have their own social media handle?
Brayden was under fire because there were multiple times during the season that he said Charity wasn’t being herself and that he was uncomfortable with the amount of guys she was dating or kissing.
Basically, Brayden did not take any sort of accountability for what he said on the show. In fact, there were multiple occasions where he shrugged it off, saying, “maybe I did say that, I don’t know.”
It was almost the “Brayden show” all over again, which I personally was not entertained by at all.
One good thing was revealed about Brayden: he is going to paradise. He is one of the men who will be on “Bachelor in Paradise,” so there will be plenty more of the “Brayden show” to come.
Xavier in the hot seat
Palmer brought Xavier up in the hot seat and looked at a full recap of his journey, which ended in heartbreak.
The recap played and when it was over, complete silence filled the room. Xavier’s lack of loyalty and inability to tell Charity that he wouldn’t cheat on her ultimately led to the breakup.
Xavier shared that he got a therapist to help him with his issues and to prepare himself for someone else later on in life.
My thoughts: Xavier wasted her time. If he knew he wasn’t ready, he shouldn’t have even been on the show.
Charity’s here
“The Bachelorette” herself came out and sat next to Palmer to review her entire journey.
Here’s what happened when Charity took the hot seat:
She confronted Brayden and they eventually apologized to one another.
Sean thanked her for being a great Bachelorette.
Charity told Xavier that she feels like he never was ready throughout the entire journey. He told her he didn’t have any doubts about being with her, but he was fearful of being his old self.
Xavier knitted her a rose. Okay, this was really a sweet gesture. It showed he really thought about her and what happened between them.
There were also plenty of bloopers, which was fun. From power outages to breath mint mistakes and loud dates.
Men who stood out to me:
Tanner. I just love Tanner. He seems so mature, emotionally intelligent and wow, he is very handsome. He is one of my top picks for the next “Bachelor” or to be featured on “Bachelor in Paradise.” I think he deserves another chance in this franchise and I am excited to see where he goes or if he finds love.
Hmm, I guess I should’ve said, “the man who stood out to me” because he was the only one. Love him.
