Jason Aldean, a country music superstar, has taken America by storm.
The singer grew up in Macon, Georgia and represents country music in small towns all across our nation. His latest single “Try That in a Small Town” explores a little bit about this.
It has also stirred up controversy in our country, because many feel that the song and video is pro-violence.
Since the controversy began, the video has been reedited to remove a clip from a Black Lives Matter protest, which appeared to be a copyright issue according to Deadline.

Aldean took to Twitter earlier this month to share his own take on the song amid headlines:
“NO ONE, including me, wants to continue to see senseless headlines or families ripped apart. Try That In A Small Town, for me, refers to the feeling of a community that I had growing up, where we took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief,” he tweeted.
The singer is no stranger to controversy. Over the years, songs such as “Burnin’ it Down,” and “Dirt Road Anthem” raised a few eyebrows.
