From pumpkin patches to haunted houses, here’s a list of autumn events in Middle GA
Spooky Season is here and Maconites have a variety of festivities to get them in the spirit with events, treats, festivals, haunted houses and pumpkin patches. Here are some events you’ll definitely want to get on your calendar:
Pumpkin Patch
What: Annual New Market Square pumpkin patch
When: Open all season Monday through Friday 3-7 p.m, Saturdays 10 a.m. -7 p.m. and Sundays 2-7 p.m.

Fall Season Pumpkins
What: Annual Dickey Farms pumpkin sale
When: Open Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
Where: 3440 Musella Road, Musella, GA 31066
Hamlin Dead Maze Halloween/Pumpkin Patch
What: Pumpkin patch and other Fall festivities
When: Opened Oct. 1. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8-11 p.m. The Pumpkin Patch started Oct. 1 and is open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What: Haunted house
When: Each weekend from Oct. 7-11 p.m on Friday, Saturday and Sunday Oct. 31. And 7-10 p.m. on Sundays.

Museum of Arts and Sciences Fall Festival
What: Annual festival at the museum featuring arts and crafts
When: Saturday, Oct. 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Lane Southern Orchards Farm Festival
What: Corn maze, costume contest, pumpkin painting and more at Lane Southern Orchards
When: Saturday, Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Macon Bacon Halloween Classic game
What: Baseball game between Macon Bacon and Macon Eggs, both teams in full costume
When: Saturday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.

Christ United Methodist Church’s Lil Pumpkin Patch
What: Stories, games, pumpkins and more
When: Oct. 25-30, Monday through Friday, 1 -7 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Nightmare Asylum
When: Thursday, Oct. 29 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30 from 8:30 p.m. to 12 p.m. and Saturday Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Society Garden Halloween Drag Show
What: Drag show at Society Garden in Ingleside Village
When: Friday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m.

Nightmare on Main Street
What: Annual trick-or-treat event and costume contest
When: Saturday, Oct. 30 starting at 5 p.m. for trick or treating and 7 p.m. for the movie screening of “Monster’s Inc.”
