The man has been rocking the stage as a country artist since the 90’s and now he is coming to the Macon City Auditorium on Friday.

Gary Allan, a country star for the better part of three decades now is set to play hits from all eight of his studio releases — plus some never before heard songs.

“We just revamped the show and this time we are doing nothing but hits,” Allan said. “I just came out of the studio and cut four more songs and we will probably pick one or two of those.”

Those who haven’t been to an Allan show can expect a high energy performance.

“We put on a really fast paced show,” Allan said. “We’ve had a lot of hits so we can walk you through a lot of memories. We can take you through a lot of emotions.”

Some of the planned songs include “Every storm,” “Watching Airplanes” and the 1996 hit “Her man.”

A city like Macon also poses the opportunity for Allan to play in a city steeped in music history.

“I think any town that has a big history in country music is fun to go to,” he said. “Especially, in Georgia.”

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
