Robert Davis settles in with Washington Redskins
Former Northside standout Robert Davis had a terrific showing at the NFL Scouting Combine, running one of the fastest times in the 40-yard dash.
He parlayed that into a fourth-round selection of the Washington Redskins, and so far, so good as Davis settles in with the Redskins.
Davis talked about the transition in an interview with Draftbreakdown.com.
Former CFCA standout Erik Austell was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Denver Broncos, but he was released. Austell, however, signed with the Houston Texans.
He will be a teammate of former Westside star Kareem Jackson, who is getting work at safety this offseason.
Former Peach County star Demarcus Robinson continues to impress with the Kansas City Chiefs. Teammate and former Northside standout Steven Nelson is looking to make more plays in the Chiefs’ secondary.
Former Tattnall Square standout DeAndre Smelter continues to wait for his big chance with the San Francisco 49ers.
