Fort Valley State pulls off SIAC upset

The Fort Valley State Wildcats knocked off No. 1 seed Claflin 76-58 on Wednesday in the SIAC Tournament.

Jalen Crawford led the Wildcats with 15 points and James Barnes had 12 points and six rebounds.

The Wildcats advance to play the winner of the LeMoyne-Owen/Benedict game that is being played Thursday. The Wildcats’ semifinal game is set for 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
