Jackson’s pick-six helps lead Texans over Jaguars
Former Westside standout Kareem Jackson had a big game in Houston’s 24-21 win over Jacksonville on Sunday.
Jackson finished with six tackles and returned an interception 42 yards for a touchdown less than five minutes into the game. That was Jackson’s first interception this season and the 13th of his NFL career.

Casey Hayward (Perry) San Diego: Two tackles, one pass defensed against Miami.
Charles Johnson (Hawkinsville) Carolina: Five tackles, 1/2 sack and one quarterback hit against Kansas City.
Abry Jones (Northside) Jacksonville: Two tackles against Houston.
Marquette King (Rutland) Oakland: Off week.
Keith Mumphery (Dooly County) Houston: Played 20 plays on offense and seven plays on special teams against Jacksonville.
Steven Nelson (Northside) Kansas City: Six tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defensed against Carolina.
Demarcus Robinson (Peach County) Kansas City: Played 18 plays on special teams against Carolina.
DeAndre Smelter (Tattnall Square) San Francisco: Practice squad.
Demaryius Thomas (West Laurens) Denver: Eight catches for 87 yards and one touchdown against New Orleans.
Erik Walden (Dublin) Indianapolis: Off week.
