Chargers’ Hayward adds to his interception total
In his first season with the San Diego Chargers, former Perry standout Casey Hayward continues to have a strong season.
Hayward had an interception against Tennessee, and he now has five for the season. Hayward also has 41 tackles for the season.

Charles Johnson (Hawkinsville) Carolina: One tackle, one pass defensed against Los Angeles.
Abry Jones (Northside) Jacksonville: Two tackles against Kansas City.
Marquette King (Rutland) Oakland: Four punts for a 42.3-yard average against Denver.
Keith Mumphery (Dooly County) Houston: Off week.
Steven Nelson (Northside) Kansas City: Two tackles, one quarterback hit, three passes defensed and fumble recovery against Jacksonville.
Demarcus Robinson (Peach County) Kansas City: Played 19 plays on special teams against Jacksonville.
DeAndre Smelter (Tattnall Square) San Francisco: Practice squad.
