Bears, Eagles remain 1-2 in Class 6A poll
The Houston County Bears and Northside Eagles kept their spots at Nos. 1-2 in the Georgia Sports Writers Association’s GHSA Class 6A poll Tuesday.
Mary Persons dropped three spots to No. 8 in Class 4A, while Peach County moved up a spot to No. 5 in Class 3A. Central climbed into the Class 3A rankings at No. 10.
Dublin remained No. in Class 2A, while Macon County is seventh in Class 1A.
Other Middle Georgia teams receiving votes are Jones County (Class 5A), Lamar County (Class 2A) and Stratford (Class 1A).
