All that championship Mayhem: Macon wins SPHL Presidents’ Cup

The SPHL title belongs to Macon.

The Mayhem captured the city's first professional sports title since 1962 with Sunday's 2-1 win against Peoria on Sunday at the Macon Coliseum.

Jake Trask's second-period goal proved to be the game winner for Macon, which also got a first-period goal from Dennis Sicard.

Mayhem goalie Jordan Ruby was up to the pressure of a championship game, stopping all but one Peoria shot.

The Rivermen got their goal by way of Cody Dion.
