The Warner Robins Demons defense stepped up in dominate fashion to defeat Carver Friday night at McConnell-Talbert stadium.
The Demons won the GHSA 5A semifinal playoff game 31-7.
The Demons pulled off an onside kick to start the game with a CJ Harris recovery, which then led to the game’s first scoring drive capped off by a Jaeven West 33 yard touchdown reception. The Panthers struck back with a 39-yard receiving touchdown of their own to Aaron Williams.
Coming out of the half Warner Robins dominated on both sides of the ball. The Warner Robins defense stood strong with three interceptions, including a 53-yard touchdown return by Keshawn Duvall. With the win the Demons move to the GHSA-5A state championship game next Friday in Atlanta.

Jaeven West: The senior wide receiver for Warner Robins caught for 49 yards on the night, including a 33-yard touchdown to start the game.
Dylan Fromm: The Demons junior quarterback threw for 193 yards and rushed for 21 yards, including a rushing touchdown and two receiving touchdowns.
Tyler Fromm: The Warner Robins junior wide receiver caught for 40 yards and a key interception in the end zone to stop a drive to end the first half.
Keshawn Duvall: The Demons junior corner back returned a 53-yard interception for a touchdown to put an exclamation point on the game.

Mike Chastain: “I feel great about the team. We are just excited to be winning tonight. Things could be tightened up a little bit. Some things were a little sloppy. When you’re playing a team like that you have to do few other things that cause that sometimes.”
Tyler Fromm on the interception: “I don’t know what to say right now. Adrenaline. I could not feel anything to be honest. I got the ball and kept on going. I did not know what to do.”
