Eight area teams off to Columbus for GHSA championship tournaments
There are eight softball teams from Bibb, Houston and Jones counties that have advanced to the GHSA championship tournaments in Columbus this week.
Thursday's schedule for those teams:
Class 6A
Houston County vs. Creekview, 1 p.m.
Class 5A
Jones County vs. Walnut Grove, 3 p.m.
Class 4A
Perry vs. Marist, 5 p.m.
Class 3A
Rutland vs. Calhoun, 5 p.m.
Class 1A Private
FPD vs. Tattnall Square, 11 a.m.
Stratford vs. Wesleyan, 11 a.m.
Mount de Sales vs. Eagle's Landing Christian, 11 a.m.
