Ahmad Barron, Tattnall Square
Just like he did during their regular-season meeting, Barron came up with the decisive touchdown in a win over Stratford, this time from 22 yards in the third quarter. He finished with 109 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries.
De’Sean Dinkins, Northside
The tough senior carried 19 times for 114 yards and two touchdown against Hughes.
Chris Gibson, Peach County
Gibson made the most of his nine carries against North Murray, scoring on four of them in the Trojans’ rout.
Zach Harvey, Mary Persons
Harvey was busy, rushing 29 times for 168 yards and three touchdowns against Heritage.
Noah Hill, Stratford
The Eagles’ quarterback broke free on a 69-yard scoring run against Tattnall, finishing with 85 yards on 12 carries.
K’Hari Lane, Macon County
The senior shrugged off his team’s sluggish start against Turner County, and was 11-of-22 for 300 yards and two touchdowns, adding two rushing scores. He also threw his first interception of the season.
Noah Lavender, John Milledge
The senior running back was huge in his final high school game, his 202 yards rushing accounting for 89 percent of the Trojans’ ground attack in the 17-0 GISA Class 3A title-game win over Gatewood.
Tobias Oliver, Northside
The senior accounted for 239 of the Eagles’ 371 yards in total offense with 119 on the ground and 114 through the air, completing 7-of-12 passes and rushing 20 times.
Caleb Speir, Mary Persons
The underclassman came up big at quarterback, completing 10-of 19 for 207 yards and no interceptions in a shootout win over Heritage.
Quen Wilson, Mary Persons
Wilson teamed with Harvey for a brutal 1-2 punch, adding 158 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries.
