GHSA football crossover games begin Thursday
The final week of the GHSA football season in Class 1A will get an early start.
Mount de Sales of Region 7-1A will host Region 3-1A foe Montgomery County at 6 p.m. on Thursday as part of an agreement to accommodate Region 3-1A’s scheduling issues created by Hurricane Matthew.

The remainder of the Region 7-1A crossover schedule will be played as planned, with games kicking off at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tattnall Square travels to Washington-Wilkes for the region championship game.

In Region 4-1A, Macon County travels to Manchester for the region title game. Taylor County goes to Brookstone, Crawford County heads to Greenville, Dooly County plays at Marion County and Hawkinsville is at Pacelli. Also, Schley County goes to Central-Talbotton.
