Five-star pass-rusher Robert Beal commits to Georgia

Georgia's recent roll in recruiting has continued.

Tuesday morning, five-star defensive end/outside linebacker Robert Beal announced that he has committed to play football at Georgia. Beal's decision came with an entertaining video, published courtesy of the website Bleacher Report.

Beal is regarded as the nation's No. 2 weakside defensive end, according to 247Sports.com, and is ranked 30th overall.

The 6-foot-3 and 217-pounder was once committed to Notre Dame before reconsidering. His pledge to Georgia gives the Bulldogs two new commits in a span of three days.

On Sunday evening, four-star cornerback Latavious Brini announced his commitment to Georgia. The Bulldogs now have 13 players in its class of 2017. Beal is Georgia's first five-star recruit to join the fold.

The commitment moves Georgia to No. 3 overall in the 247Sports.com team recruiting rankings with Beal's addition. Only Ohio State and Alabama are ranked higher.
