Michael Barnett moved back to the position group he began the season with.

Barnett, who was moved to the offensive line during the bye week, was back practicing with the defensive line during Monday’s practice. The move back most likely has to do with depth since DaQuan Hawkins-Muckle sprained his ankle in Saturday’s 24-10 loss to Florida.

Barnett was a rotational player as a true freshman in 2015 but has yet to log a snap this year. He was passed over in favor of four true freshman – Julian Rochester, Tyler Clark, Michail Carter and David Marshall.

Barnett did not travel to Saturday’s game against the Gators.
