Loves Gadbois?
Frank Gadbois seems to get worse with his dialogues. His issues have nothing to do with his own business. The Department of Defense gave Frank a job and probably a fat cat pension. DOD saved “Jolly Old England” yet he wants it to fail. His tripe about caring for others stinks up the newspaper. I am impressed though with the title: Who cares, it must have referred to his “opinion.”

Time to move on
Alfred J. Graham seems to be unable to get over the election. We are still Americans and need to back our elected officials. Name calling is the lowest form of discourse, it is the last bastion of the uninformed and juvenile citizens who are allowed to post their “opinion.”
Check the news, his candidate lost. Live with it. I think it is comical that Graham still harbors animosity toward President George H.W. Bush. From the contents of his letter, I wasn’t sure he was old enough to remember him.

Witch Hunt over?
Now that all the left wing snowflakes have been unsuccessful in digging up trash on President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions maybe we can move on with what matters like running this nation and getting after ISIS.

Encounters of the pedestrian kind
Why are there so many pedestrian deaths in Central Georgia? I don’t know. Maybe it’s the water or the moon, but let me tell you about my experiences of late. One evening I was on my way to a meeting in Macon. In an unlit section of the county I was frightened because I could have run over someone. He had on dark clothing, dark skin, and was standing by the white line on the edge of the road. I didn’t see him until the bumper of my car was even with where he was standing. About a block down the road was a group of people in dark clothing hanging around a stop sign.
On my way back home from that meeting I decided to travel a different route. Still, in an unlit section of the county, I made a right turn and almost ran over another person on a bicycle, but instead of using his pedals to make the bicycle move he was holding on to the side of a pick-up truck traveling west which put him in the lane of those traveling east.
A few days later I was traveling toward town on Gray Highway. The traffic was fairly dense. A young man was trying to cross the road, but not at the traffic light. He ran across two lanes of traffic and just as I was getting near him he ran out in front of me and I had to quickly apply my brakes. I’m sure if these people went to school and were taught about good safety habits. Are they just ignoring what they learned or do they intentionally try to get hurt?
