WARNER ROBINS -- Robins Air Force Base will have an air show next year.

A news release from the base Wednesday said details of the show will be announced at the Museum of Aviation on Thursday.

The last air show was in 2012. Next year's event is free, and similar air shows typically have drawn crowds of thousands of people.

The show is scheduled for Oct. 1-2. The Air Force Thunderbirds website shows that the unit is scheduled to perform.
