Students represent their schools through fellowship, scholarship opportunities
▪ Georgia Military College Prep School graduate Megan Leben and Jenny Morris, theater and dance director, represented the school at the International Thespian Festival in June at the University of Nebraska. They were involved in the show “Memphis.”
▪ Seniors Lyndsay Richardson, a music education major from Bonaire, and Bailey Woodard, an exercise science major from Warner Robins, were among 15 Columbus State University students chosen to represent the school as Presidential Envoys.
▪ Maggie Callahan, a Mercer University senior, is studying the political culture of the southern Caucasus region in Tblisi, Georgia, this school year through a Boren Scholarship.
▪ University of Georgia student Jim Henderson III, from Macon, completed a 12-week agriculture fellowship with U.S. Rep. Austin Scott this summer in Washington, D.C.
