Coliseum Health rewards 10 local students

Earlier this summer, Coliseum Health System awarded $1,000 scholarships to 10 local students. The funds were raised by volunteers from Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital.

Class of 2017 high school graduates who received the award are Afnan Khan and Sarah Baldree, of Central High School; Ariel Fortson, Rutland High; Harlisa Lockett, Crawford County High School; and Christiny Reeves, Katlyn Smaha and Mac Willingham, First Presbyterian Day School;

Courtney Knight, a current pharmacy student at Mercer University; Tift Palmer, a current nursing student at the University of Mississippi; and Perlie Do, a current nursing student at Mercer, also received scholarships.
