Perry High FFA team takes home awards at nationals
Perry High School’s FFA Meats Evaluation Team was recently named a Gold Emblem Team at the National FFA Convention and Expo. The group also won 11th place at the event, which was held in Indianapolis, Indiana, in October. The competition included activities that tested students’ knowledge on muscles, bones, and meat cuts, grades and quality.
Team members were Skylar Mizell, Landon Tadich, Haley Pulsifer and Lizzi Neal. Their FFA adviser is Ashley Denton. Neal, Mizell and Tadich took home Gold Emblem Individual awards, and a Silver Emblem went to Pulisfer.
