Yelling ex-girlfriend jailed in stabbing of Macon man at store
Hours after a Macon woman allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend at a Houston Avenue store, deputies took her to jail.
Tynesha Haslem, 28, is accused of following Jerome Smith into the C Mini Mart at 3380 Houston Ave. at about 4:10 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
As Haslem was yelling at Smith, she stabbed the 29-year-old man in the left leg, deputies said.
She was charged with aggravated assault and is being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Smith was taken by a friend to Medical Center, Navicent Health for treatment of his wound, which was not considered life-threatening.
