Mercer student robbed at gunpoint

Mercer University police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a campus apartment Saturday night.

At about 11:30 p.m., two men entered an unlocked apartment and held up a resident at gunpoint, then fled, said Mercer Police Cpl. Mike Kondorf. No one was injured. The suspects were captured on security camera video.

The incident happened at Garden Apartments, student housing on the west side of campus. An armed robbery also happened there in Dec. 13, 2014.
