A Forsyth man faces charges including felony theft Friday after he allegedly stole an enclosed trailer equipped with a GPS locating device that lead authorities to his home address, according to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

Scott W. Bogulski was arrested in Forsyth's Jackson Heights subdivision after deputies tracked down the trailer, which was reported stolen in Bibb County, and spotted it in his driveway, Sgt. Lawson Bittick said.

After a search warrant was obtained by Monroe and Bibb county deputies, Bittick said Bogulski refused to cooperate with the investigation. The stolen trailer was recovered and Bogulski was charged with felony counts of theft by receiving stolen property and criminal use of an article with altered identification, Bittick said. He was taken to the Monroe County Jail where he awaits a bond hearing.
