A woman stopped by a sheriff's deputy Wednesday for a window tint violation on Interstate 75 in Monroe County was found with nearly seven pounds of a liquid date rape drug.

Mandi Jackson, of Orlando, Florida, was pulled over near mile marker 189 by a deputy who reported smelling the scent of marijuana coming from inside her car, Sgt. Lawson Bittick said in an email. A search of the black BMW revealed Jackson had about 6.7 pounds of the liquid form of GHB, a controlled substance commonly known as the "date rape drug," Bittick said. The estimated street value is $24,500.

"When unobtrusively administered in a drink, the victim will quickly feel groggy and sleepy and will not be able to remember what happened after waking up," Bittick said.

The deputy also discovered a semi-automatic handgun and a single burned marijuana joint, Bittick said. Jackson is charged with a window tint violation, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Jackson is being held at the county jail without bond.
