Suspect identified after gun pulled on Macon Wal-Mart employees

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office released photos Tuesday morning of an alleged shoplifter accused of pulling a gun on Wal-Mart employees Monday.

Felenthean Deandre Grable, 28, was identified through surveillance images captured at about 4:30 p.m. Monday as he left the store.

Shoppers were evacuated from the building at 6020 Harrison Road after deputies got a call about a shoplifting in progress at the store near Interstate 475.

Store employees detained the suspect and took him into an office.

He surrendered the goods he was allegedly attempting to steal, and employees asked him if he had anything else in his possession.

"Then he took a gun from his pocket and pointed it at one of the employees," said Deputy Linda Howard, a sheriff's spokeswoman.

The man got away and left the store. Deputies reviewed surveillance footage to get a better description of the suspect and released a previous mug shot for Grable along with an image from a store camera.

Grable is a black male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing between 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a dark button-up shirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with any information about this crime is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
