Man indicted in 2015 alleged Macon rape

A 38-year-old man was indicted on a rape charge Tuesday in the alleged May 31 rape of a 26-year-old woman at a house off Macon Avenue, according to a Bibb County indictment.

Collins previously was convicted of theft by taking a motor vehicle in 2005 and battery in 2002, both in Houston County Superior Court, according to the indictment.
