Area law enforcement to hold Coffee with a Cop

Forsyth police officers as well as sheriff’s deputies from Bibb, Jones and Monroe counties are set to meet with residents Monday for Central Georgia Coffee with a Cop.

Residents are invited to meet with local law enforcement at Starbucks, 4640 Forsyth Road, in Macon from 8-10 a.m., according to a news release.

Coffee with a Cop is a nationwide event that aims to provide a relaxing, neutral atmosphere to talk about residents’ concerns, build a trusting relationship and work on mutual goals to improve the community, according to the release.
