Man charged with shooting outside Macon club
Bibb County sheriff’s deputies arrested and charged a man Thursday in connection with a shooting at a Macon nightclub earlier this week.
Jawaski Keon Mack, 27, was arrested about 3:15 p.m. at a New Clinton Road home and charged with criminal attempt to commit murder.
He is being held without bond at the Bibb County jail.
The arrest stems from an incident at Club Status, 4740 Pio Nono Ave., on Monday. Tkyemia Dashawn Watts, 20, received non-life-threatening injuries after being knocked to the ground and shot in the legs and arms several times with a semi-automatic pistol. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to speak to an on-call investigator, or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
