Mother accused of trying to run over child’s father at least three times

A Macon woman was arrested early Thursday after she admitted she tried to run over her boyfriend multiple times.

Eboni Janae Brooks, 26, of Wynnwood Drive, was arrested at about 5 a.m. Thursday on a charge of criminal attempt to commit felony aggravated assault, according to an arrest warrant.

After an argument, Brooks got in a car and tried at least three times to run over the father of their child.

A witness also saw what happened and reported the incident to investigators who took Brooks into custody, the warrant stated.
