Burglary suspect caught in the act did not go quietly to jail, police say
An 18-year-old was captured in the middle of a burglary of a Laura Avenue home, police said.
Officers dispatched to the home at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday found Kendrick Juan Govner Smith hiding in the attic, a Warner Robins police news release said.
Smith did not go quietly. He’s also accused of kicking out the window of a prisoner transport vehicle, according to the release.
He’s charged with burglary, criminal damage to property, interference with governmental administration, obstruction and criminal trespassing, the release said.
