Warner Robins police on lookout for impaired drivers
Warner Robins police will have safety checkpoints set up around the city Friday in an effort to deter and reduce the number of impaired drivers.
Operation Safe Streets is part of the Middle Georgia Traffic Enforcement Network’s Zero Tolerance campaign.
Last year, 1,427 people died on Georgia roads, according to a Warner Robins police news release.
