Bibb coroner seeks help in finding next of kin of two people

The Bibb County Coroner's Office is seeking help finding the next of kin of two people.

James Robert Mitchell, 67, an inmate at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, died Nov. 5 from liver and renal failure at the Medical Center, Navicent Health, said Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.

Sarah S. Payne, 69, a resident of a nursing home in Jeffersonville, died Oct. 24 from heart problems at the Medical Center, Navicent Health, Jones said.

Anyone with information about their family members is asked to call Jones at 478-256-6716.
