Boater hurt after running vessel aground on Lake Tobesofkee
A 50-year-old boater was hurt Tuesday night after running his boat aground on Lake Tobesofkee.
Just before 10:30 p.m., Lloyd Carlson George of Warner Robins was on the lake in a Commodore Regal 2 when he hit land near the bridge on Moseley Dixon Road, according to a release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
No other vessels or vehicles were involved in the accident, which happened not far from Claystone Park.
George was taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health, in stable condition.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the incident to all 478-751-7500.
