Man killed in Twiggs County motorcycle crash
A 51-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday afternoon on Ga. 96, Twiggs County Coroner Harold Reece said.
The crash happened near the railroad tracks, not far from Savage Creek and the Houston County border.
“For no obvious reason he left the roadway and struck a tree,” Reece said.
The man suffered multiple blunt injuries and was pronounced dead just before 5 p.m.
Reece said the man’s name would be released after his family has been notified.
